The minimum requirement for the Private Limited Company
- For a Private Limited company, the company must have at least 2 Directors

The company registration procedure can be divided into the following steps:
- Obtain Digital Signatures: One of the directors should apply for the DSC (Digital Signature Certificate), necessary to file the business registration documents.
- Application for DIN in the form DIR-3: Director of a company must apply for an application for allowance of Director Identification Number in form DIR-3 to the Central Government in such form.
- Choose a company name: Select a suitable name for your company of more than four indicative. Make sure your company is completely different as compared to other registered companies. Your company name should not violate the Emblems and names under the prevention of company Act, 10950.

You also require document substantiating payment of approved filing fee and registration.
- Verification of ROC forms and attachments: You need to scrutinize and verify the documents/forms/attachments once you are prepared to send for a company registered at the secretarial office to avoid glitches and also to suggest necessary changes as required.
- Issue of ROC Certificate of Incorporation: Once you have complied with all legal procedures and the registrar is satisfied with the documents you have provided, your company will be registered under company law and issue a certificate of incorporation within the said time limit.
